Adrian is completing his mechanical engineering PhD in AM complex geometry design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He is expert in AM product/part/application design, computer-aided design oriented to additive manufacturing, modelling of additive manufacturing processes, performance simulation of additive manufactured products and eco-impact assessment in the field of AMT. He has published 5 JCR publications, was awarded as the best Master Thesis of Industrial Engineering by The Official Association of Industrial Engineering in Madrid (2015), as well as, ‘The best researching communication’ in the National Congress of Mechanical Engineering, CNIM (Spain), in 2016. In 2016 he spent a productive research stay at Lithoz and the Technical University of Vienna where he collaborated on complex geometries and new material formulations using the CeraFab 7500.

Andres is an accomplished scientist in the field of additive manufacturing. He is head of the Product Development Laboratory at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where he has been a professor since 2005. His work in the development of innovative products based on knowledge-based materials and complex geometries with improved functionalities has led to over 50 journal publications and 10 granted patents. One of his ambitions has been for his research and role as a professor to empower graduates to take charge of their future and carry forward additive manufacturing concepts into industry. thinkAM realizes that ambition.
Enrique Chacon

Enrique Chacon

Assistant Professor of Mechanical Eng.
Enrique is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department at ETSI Industriales –UPM since 2010. His work are linked to several fields of Mechanical Engineering and Product Development, including most areas of design, machine performance assessment, tribology, and systematic product development applied to biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, ICT, energy and transport. He has carried out consulting activities for companies on problems regarding with mechanical engineering and participates in several public- and private-funded research projects.
Tatiana Loureiro

Tatiana Loureiro

Tatiana Loureiro is a lawyer and an expert in IP rights and EU Law.  She holds a LL.M degree in European Union Studies from University of Salamanca, Spain, and a second LL.M. degree in Fundamental Rights from Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, Spain. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property from Bournemouth University, UK.
Thomas Messervey

Thomas Messervey

Business development and fundraising expert
Thomas is civil engineer, entrepreneur and avid business developer. In addition to his role at thinkAM, he serves as the CEO and co-founder of R2M Solution where he has participated directly in the founding of five companies in four countries and has led project consortia in the fundraising of over €50 million in collaborative research. In the field of AM, he has experience as the innovation manager of the H2020 project ToMax (Tooless Additive Manufactuirng of Complex Structures) during which he has spent two years developing contacts and exploitation channels within the AM sector worldwide.  Thomas will focus on business strategy, acceleration, fundraising, and make available all resources of the R2M Group for the benefit of thinkAM.
